Bedbug

First word i heard from my roommate was ‘bedbug’. yes, a person after being drained by his fucking asshole clients, comes home and finds out a bedbug roaming around his apartment, without even paying rent. ‘you just think that it is ‘a’ bedbug, there might be hundreds of those fuckers and we might not even know.’ he shouted. ‘yeah, yeah, got it’ was my response to an already harassed by the tiny creature, guy. he was relieved that i share his pain.

‘Now what?’ after a while, when i sought no calm on his face, i shot this obvious question, with no intention of getting a reply. ‘we have to find those bastards, else they will be all over us’ i am dead, i thought. and next moment he was all in the field, searching each and every corner, moving each and every bit, hitting everything which was hitable, i don’t know if such word even exists.

I let myself put for a while, but for how long you can park when others are already on race track. i jumped and was leading from the front, doing more or less same thing what he was doing but with more noise, distraction you see. here goes the table, there goes the bed, here goes shoe rack, there goes chair. in all just two of us and world war.

After battle of Normandy, finally we were both shot in head by the tiredness and the failure, i mean what the fuck, not a single piece of shit was found which would at least look like a bedbug. i just threw myself on the sofa which now has moved to the other corner like continental drift, eyes closed so that i would never know that we have already drifted and when i opened my eyes, i realized what world learns only after a war is over. ‘war is bad’ be it with an other country or with a bedbug in your own house.

‘war is bad’ he said, seeking sympathy and more of a support and help to clean up the mess which we have caused to this perfect place. ‘okay, not so perfect’. we both smiled and stood up, after all a new war was ahead.

Yes, i finally watched it. a surprisingly lovely treat, if you ask for an opinion. This 1957 Black and white movie is timeless. when i heard about it from one of my friend, it was there in back of my mind that some day i will watch it. when the day finally came, i was taken aback from its release date and the colorlessness. my friend never told me that its an old movie. But then yesterday when i heard the same movie name from a colleague, it was enough for me to make my mind.

Starting few minutes of the movie were disappointing as it was going no where, but soon it was all clear. Now i knew what it was all about.

These men arguing, trying to convince each other, giving their fearless opinions, are the true face of people in society. some care to much and some are well detached from the world. some are so selfless that they tend to protect everyone irrespective of what society has to say about them and some are so selfish they don’t even care that their one word can cause someone his life. all true faces and behaviors.

Well as a movie, i would say its a much watch. never in the movie was shown any scene out of a hall in a humid hot summer day, but the arguments are such gripping and enough to create a suspense in your mind. one keeps guessing what would have happened the day boy killed his father, if at all he did.

the urge to tell the story is gripping me over here. but then it will be a spoiler. I want you to watch it and feel it.

End of world

Yes, true, the world is gonna end. people have seen wild animals running out and away from the yellowstone national park. we all know yellowstone volcano happens to be a super volcano and its eruption means we are doomed. it will cover the sky, no sun to be seen, which will result in years of ice age. Now the question is why the animals are leaving yellowstone? is it going to erupt? is it the nature’s way to letting us know that times up? You never know.

Animals are believed to have very strong sixth sense. we can see ants heaving to high places before rains. we see bird flocks flying away before cyclones. we see rabbits and snakes moving out of the ground before an earthquake. So these all suggest their way of knowing things in advance. So what does it tell us? Why leave yellowstone? you guessed it right.

There are similar events which suggests that mother nature has had enough. frequent earthquakes, cyclones, polar vertex, increasing temperature all over the globe, drastically changing weather everywhere, these all are the signs of it. humans have become like a plague to earth, increasing every minute like virus and polluting everything which come in its way. this is all our own deeds.

Not just the nature, there are other factors too, increasing fear of nuclear disasters, grown threats of experiments, every now and then breakout of some unknown diseases, life threatening illnesses, aids, cancer and what not. all human generated doomsday devices.

Moral of the story we are going to hell. sooner or later worst consequences will be visible to all humanity and there is nobody else but us to suffer. and yes, about the animals leaving yellowstone, for now relax, i heard they are leaving in search of food as winter has not left much choices for them in the national park, not because its gonna burst, so calm down.
